"The cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek," said Carl Jung, and it rings true in our lives. The emotions we are unwilling to feel can hold the key to our freedom. These suppressed feelings often lead to unconscious behaviors and compensatory strategies that keep us stagnant, hindering our growth and evolution.

During our workshop, we will invite you to slow down, breathe, and face those emotions head-on. Connect with your bodily sensations, dropping the stories and allowing yourself to fully feel each sensation. It's within these feelings that true growth + transformation lie.

Think of this workshop as a mini-retreat. We will dive deep in our 8 hours together.

 
 
 
 
 
 

What to Expect

During your journey of transformation at the "Pause with Purpose" workshop, you will experience growth through five powerful elements:

  1. Fasting: Experience the benefits of hiking in a fasted state. Before the hike, we will guide you through the process of adjusting to a fasted state to ensure a positive experience.

  2. Nature: Connect with the healing power of nature as we embark on a meaningful hike through the picturesque landscapes of the Bay Area.

  3. Physical Challenge: Embrace physical challenges during the hike to push your boundaries and strengthen your mind-body connection.

  4. Embodiment Practices: Learn powerful embodiment practices to shift from reactive to intentional decision-making, harnessing your intuition and inner wisdom.

  5. Brotherhood: Bond with like-minded individuals, forming a supportive brotherhood that nurtures personal growth and accountability.

 
 
 
 

Itinerary

Fasting Beforehand: We recommend fasting a minimum of 12 hours before we meet on Saturday, but this is optional. The longer you fast, the deeper you’ll be able dive. Please reach out if you have any questions about fasting. Everyone is different, and you must consider your own medical history, current health status, and nutritional needs before starting.
7AM: Arrive at the hike. We will email you the location once you sign up, but it will be near Woodside, CA.
7:15AM: Meet & Warmup
7:30AM: Begin Hike
9:30AM: Pause halfway to go through some exercises & journal.
12PM: Break fast. We will have simple, light food to eat. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know beforehand.
3PM: By 3pm we will be back at our cars & will close out the workshop

Mike Salemi

Mike is a holistic fitness expert specializing in human performance with over 15 years of experience as a coach, teacher, ancestral medicine practitioner, and entrepreneur. Through his own transformative journey, he has developed his personal path to fulfillment and now shares his wisdom and expertise to passionately help others discover their own potential from the inside-out.

Tyler Le Floch

Tyler is a highly experienced coach with over 12 years of expertise in full-body resistance coaching. He is known for his unique approach that combines breathwork, improv, neurolinguistic programming, somatic inner child work, and the Enlifted method of story work to help individuals bridge the gap between their current selves and their envisioned selves.
