Trip Itinerary

DAY 1 - Friday, November 10th

Everyone will begin to arrive at 12pm - we will start the retreat with an opening ceremony, and will have a team workout to break the ice. The rest of the evening will be filled with breath, sound, movement, and journaling exercises before an organic and nutritious dinner to end the day.

DAY 2 - Saturday, November 11th

We’ll start the day some intentional movement and an ice bath to awaken the senses. We’ll end the morning with some introspective exercises, including diving into the specifics of your Enneagram. Midday we will experience a traditional private sweat lodge, and then end the day with cacao, tobacco, and fire ceremonies.

DAY 3 - Sunday, November 12th

We’ll begin the last day with a sunrise hike. For the remainder of the morning we will integrate our learnings from the weekend, have a nourishing brunch, have our closing ceremony, and wrap up around 12pm.

 
 

What’s Included

  • Food & Accommodations
    Mt. Shasta is considered a sacred land. You will be staying in beautiful glamping-style tents, right here on the land. Men will enjoy holistically curated, organic meals from 100% pasture-raised meat throughout their stay.

  • Community of Brothers
    Develop long-lasting relationships with a new group of brothers who will be with you and at your side during your entire stay during this experience. 

  • Physical Movement & Play
    A stronger, more resilient physical body, is directly connected to our self-confidence and empowerment. We will experience a community training experience to enhance how we move, and condition our body & mind. 

  • Cacao, Tobacco, and Fire Ceremonies
    A series of heart-opening, grounding ceremonies will connect men to the heart and our highest calling. You will be guided and supported through rituals designed to strengthen you from the inside out.

  • Sweat Lodge
    A private sweat lodge (inipi) experienced under the guidance of a Native American, who has led sweat lodge experiences for over 40 years. 

  • Integration Calls
    Integration and stabilization of what you have experienced throughout your time at the retreat is some of the most important parts of getting the most out of this experience. How will you be better for yourself, your family and your community? 1x post retreat you will have a chance to reconnect with the group in a guided call to check in, hold you accountable for what you seek to create for yourself, as well as receive support.

Head Facilitator & Founder

Mike Salemi

Mike is a holistic fitness expert specializing in human performance with over 15 years of experience as a coach, teacher, ancestral medicine practitioner, and entrepreneur. Through his own transformative journey, he has developed his personal path to fulfillment and now shares his wisdom and expertise to passionately help others discover their own potential from the inside-out.

Mike founded Men of Movement retreats in 2021 with the mission to create a space for men to feel safe to transform into their authentic selves.

 
 

Co-Facilitators

Tyler Le Floch

Tyler is a highly experienced coach with over 12 years of expertise in full-body resistance coaching. He is known for his unique approach that combines breathwork, improv, neurolinguistic programming, somatic inner child work, and the Enlifted method of story work to help individuals bridge the gap between their current selves and their envisioned selves.

Jonny Suarez

Dr. Suarez is a healthcare practitioner specializing in functional medicine, Chinese medicine, and acupuncture. With almost 20 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, Jonny offers comprehensive personal health programs that address chronic diseases.

Bryan Osuna

Bryan is a transformative coach and practitioner at The Bridge, specializing in sound therapy. He focuses on helping individuals rewrite their stories by erasing limiting codes and integrating new ones that promote alignment, empowerment, and lasting transformation.
